DPI Decision: Berlin School District Ordered to Drop "Indian" Nickname

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction ruled the Berlin School District will have to remove its race-based nickname and logo. Berlin School District is the fourth Wisconsin Public School District to have a complaint filed under ACT 250, and the fourth with a ruling from DPI ordering removal of the schools' race-based nickname-mascot-logo.
